]]> We were disappointed not to be playing any weddings this weekend as it meant no buffet food and no pretty girls in dresses but it was made up for slightly by playing two great North East pubs that have a good reputation for live music. The first was the Cumberland Arms in Bishop Auckland (or Bish Vegas as we like to call it). The second was at The Ox Inn, Stanley, a great venue with the locals to match.

There’s loads going on for us at the minute. We’ve just been told we’ll be playing at As You Like It, Jesmond, on Friday May 31st. It’s a venue we’ve wanted to play for some time so cannot wait for that gig. See the events page for more info.

We’re in the process of buying some bright, flashy, swirly lights to make us look even cooler (we didn’t think it was possible either) and we are looking to upgrade our PA system to make us sound even better (that we can’t believe). Apparently this PA system doesn’t just go to eleven, this one goes to twelve. (pat yourself on the back if you’re cool enough to get that one)
