It’s a busy time of year for us but not with gigs as you might expect but with enquiries. Whether it’s newly engaged couples or those spurred on by the new year, now seems to be the time for people to book. So if you’re one of those couples considering us for their wedding then you might like to know that we’ve got two upcoming gigs that are an ideal opportunity to come and see us play.

On Friday the 15th of this month and Saturday the 13th of February we’re at As You Like It in Jesmond, just minutes from the centre of Newcastle. We’ll be playing a wedding style set so get down and see what you think. The breaks in between are a perfect chance to come and chat with us if you have any questions.

Last Public Show of 2015

This Friday is our last public show of 2015 so if you’re thinking of booking us for a wedding, function or corporate event in 2016 it may well be worth coming to see us. The gig is at As You Like It in Jesmond just oustide Newcastle. Entry is free before 10pm and £5 after that. We start at 10:30 and play till about 01:30. Gig Cancellation: Mr. Lynch 25.04.15

Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of our control we’ll no longer be playing at Mr. Lynch on the 25th of this month. The venue has been booked privately so we’re now at a loose end on that night (we might crash the party instead). We know there were several couples coming down to watch us on that night and we’ve tried to contact everyone but if we’ve missed you then apologies.

We’re often a Mr. Lynch or across the road at As You Like It so there will be other chances to see us. We’ve pasted below our upcoming dates.

Christmas Parties and Functions 2015

The Fontains are a young, professional three piece function band from the North East that could be ideal for any events you may be planning for 2015 whether it’s Christmas parties, functions or a wedding on behalf of a client.

The band have had repeat bookings and residencies with The NHS, Beamish Hall, As You Like It, Mr. Lynch and Slaley Hall so you can be assured of their quality. Just check out their testimonials page here for proof!

Their set is a great mix of modern classics and old school favourites that allows them to be as diverse as a clients workforce and get everyone on the dancefloor. As a self-contained three piece with their own lighting rig and high end sound system you can be sure of a great service that unlike other function bands, will not run into four figure bills.

The Fontains still have dates left for December 2015 so please do get in touch if you would like to book them. If you’d like to see and hear them in person then why not come down to As You Like It on Friday March 6th where they will be playing live from 10:30pm.
